Scot it looks like this should get you started pretty good. You will have fun and be pleased with the results. Looks a lot harder than it really is.
Scot:
Let me know how the gray pastels work out. I am looking for a replacement for a gray powder I use to dull buildings. The manufacturer went out of business. This powder was great because it would dull without a buildup like normal weathering powders.

Hey! I think I know that kit! Looks great, Scot.

You can get an assortment of artist's pastel sticks from Michael's for a few dollars:
Just scrape off what you need with an X-acto knife.
use whatever you want but use them from top to the bottom and never, never right to left or vise versa.

Sp2207 - I have both sets from PanPastel and I like the products very much. I am getting better at weathering and am also using other methods with washes and paints. Going to be starting airbrushing soon with my new kit.
By the way you might be interested in articles they produce. See link below.

John. Thanks, I need to find a good to great Hobby Shop close to Oswego, Yorkville, Sandwich area.
Avanti. I guess I need to make another trip to Oswego and run into Michael's which is right down the street from Hobby Lobby. Like I was telling rattler21 (John) in a email yesterday I need to start to make a shopping list for these stores So that way I will not forget to look for an item.
AG. I always enjoy your tips given to everyone. I have around 30-35 kits sitting waiting for me to build and that's why I want to learn the weathering do & don'ts . That's why I have only ordered the 4 Wooden Reels from you . I love what you deliver in your kits and would love to own a few of them in time.
