I had a phone call from a gentleman from Johnstown, PA. looking for a good "Z" gauge and "N" gauge dealer. Who would you recommend.
I do not know anything about these two gauges. Any help you can give me would be appreciated, Thank you. Jimmy

Check out the websites that advertise here. Many sell more than just O-gauge.
K B Klein if you want to do business on the web. Ditto for Wig Wag Trains, N-Scale Supply and Brooklyn Locomotive Works.
Locally, you've got Esther's Hobby in Pittsburgh. Not much of a web presence, but about the best stocked N gauge dealer I've ever seen. Good people to do business with - worth the ~1 hour trip from Johnstown.
As far as Z gauge, that's tough. Everyone I mentioned dabbles in it but I don't know of anyone who specializes. At one point I was contemplating using a z-scale train to represent a g-scale train on my o-scale layout.
Lee and thestumper thanks for you replies. I will gladly pass this information along.
I stopped by The Train Room, in Point Pleasant Beach, NJ, for the first time recently. For a small shop, they had a decent selection of O Gauge, and I picked up a few freight cars, but they had an even better selection of N and HO Gauge equipment. My one experience was great and I wouldn't hesitate to order from them.
German, thank you. I will pass your information along with what Lee and thestumper stated. Take care and Happy Thanksgiving to all three of you and your families.
The Walthers website comes to mind.
I bought my KATO "N" track and GG1 from Nicholas Smith Trains.
Allin and Joe Hohmann.
Thanks for your replies. That's two more places I can the gentleman. Take care and have a wonderful and safe day. Happy Thanksgiving to you and your families.
