Its been awhile since I've been here. I wanted to let everyone know I'm no longer stripping trains for repaints. In the last few weeks I stripped shells for several members here and now they're done and shipped on they're way. I started last spring getting rid of my O scale and after selling hundreds of scale cars and several engines I have only about 30 to 40 Atlas cars and kits left then I'm done. Thanks to all who have put up with me here on this fine forum. I'll come back here in a day or two to answer any post then I'm signing off.

Hi Alan, Its something that happened by chance. I've always been more into the building and scenery aspect of the hobby and thats what always peaked my intrest and gave me that drive. About a year ago I did an o gauge structure build for a guy in florida  and someone he knew saw it and asked if I could do a similar build in 1/24 scale for a public exibit he was working on in texas. So I did that build then I was contacted by death valley pictures to do some 1/24 vehicles and structures and I did those then I realized I was making real money for something I love to do. Everything I've ever done was done all out and I just couldnt keep the o scale up and do this at the same time so I just started liquidating them not to mention my shop where I do my builds is 24x24 and I needed the space. Sounds corny but I didnt feel like I was representing o gauge like it deserves to be represented while devoting all my time to the bigger scale builds.

Your decision and future direction sounds perfectly reasonable to me, and the O gauge community's loss is certainly the Large Scale community's gain.  Fortunately, your considerable talents are still being devoted to the hobby in one way or another.
