Farewell Dewey, would liked to have been able to spend time with you sir listening to your accounts of things.
Sad to hear this. Dewey was one of the more down-to-earth guys on this forum. Never bragged, never showed disrespect towards anyone, and knew a thing or two about railroading, both the real deal and modeling.
Read his obit the other day linked to in another thread. By all accounts, Dewey lead a full and very interesting life. He'll be missed. RIP.
During the Christmas season, another sobering reminder that life is short and that we all have what we need to be happy, right now, and most of those things aren’t things. Rest In Peace and God bless Dewey and all those who have passed this year. And Merry Christmas to everyone.
