I bought an eight foot long "triple" Hellgate bridge in O gauge from a man in the Smokies last summer...does anyone have any information about it and suggestions what I should do with it? Deano

It sounds like it was made to scale. Join a modular club and place it on two 4 ft. modules.
As Harry implied, "Don't raise the bridge, lower the river!"
Harry, do you intend to put wheels under your module?

I suggest you put it on eBay with a ridiculous price tag. Wait long enough and someone will buy it. It is VERY cool.

Our club (Queen City HiRailers) is three tracks though...and just when I promised not to help make the layout any larger (it's 75 feet by 50 now...too much for old guys to take up and down). My current modules are a drive in theater and playground. d
The bridge is MTH railking from the 90s. It was made the same as the metal Lionel Hellsgate bridge. One pier could be removed and the bridge end could be attached to another Hellsgate bridge. In this this case it was done 3x. This bridge is for 2 O-gauge tracks and I think it is made for MTH plastic track.
Remember not all equipment will run thru the bridge. My father and I modified ours so we could run the Milwaukee Road Bi-puller with out it hitting the bridge

The Railking Hellgate bride was made of ABS plastic.

Hmmm.....thanks, that might rule it out for our club's use. I wonder if I could modify it to use it for G Gauge? d

On this bridge and the original Lionel Hellsgate bridge one pier can be removed and the bridge end could be attached to another Hellsgate bridge.
