Timely thread for me. I just sent them an email yesterday and was wondering if they are around because the website makes you wonder if the brand has been abandoned (the note about the sale and move, and that the note is from quite a while ago).

Glad to hear they are selling these otherwise difficult to find detail pieces.

I just received an order from them last week.  Took awhile though, but they explained that it would when I called.  Sounds like that are still getting re-established after the move.  Very glad they are still in business and I hope they remain so for many years to come. A wonderful resource for detail parts

Resurrecting an old thread. E-mail about a month ago with a detailed list. As of this writing no response.

Has anyone ordered/received parts in the last few months with success? I can call and will today, but phoning in an order with detail is a recipe for disaster as I am sure it would not be fulfilled as accurately as an e-mail.

Thanks for any feedback.

Doing business via e-mail can be dicey because of the existence of "spam" and/or "junk" folders.  Business receive a lot more crap e-mail than the average home user, so they rely heavily on those filters for efficiency.

Your e-mail order may have inadvertently ended up there on business' computer, so my suggestion would be to call and see if business recipient actually knows your e-mail exists.  They will either hunt it down or ask you to send a repeat.  You might also add a line to each order e-mail asking them to "reply," merely confirming receipt of e-mail.

Note when sending e-mails, always BCC yourself so this way you KNOW it was sent. Dont rely on your "sent box" as I have been "duped" several times.

I know Precision Scale was sold and moved to Washington State but their web site says they should be up and running by the middle of last June. I have been calling them with an order for three days and just get a recording. Anyone know if they are still in business? Hope so. Don

I recently placed an order with them by phone.  I have never gotten a recording and I have called many times.  They do seem to have a different name in the email though.  The email says it's from Teresa Precision Scale Co, but here is a copy of an email I received from them:

Hello Thomas,

Item #4431 from your order is backordered.  It could be 2 weeks before it comes up from production.  Would you like me to hold the order until the last item is ready to ship?

I always get PSC parts through my LHS, Mainline Hobby Supply in Blue Ridge Summit, PA. They keep a good stock of PSC stuff (and literally every other detail part you can imagine). I've never had much of an issue and if there's something not in stock they've had no problem getting it from PSC.

That takes me back.  I remember that hobby shop well from my many visits to Waynesboro, PA where  originally from.  I even had a few aunts and uncles who lived up "on the mountain" in Blue Ridge Summit.  My grandfather took my dad and his brothers up there to watch the Western Maryland.  It's always been a good hobby shop.  Great to hear they are still operating.

I was surprised where PSC was, it literally is 10 miles from where I grew up. It looks to be very close to where an old wooden grain silo was alongside to tracks coming North out of Pasco , sadly they dismantled the silo.
With the inventory they carry I imagine they are situated in an old building or warehouse.

I started going there with my grandfather in the late 80's. I live an hour plus away in the metro DC area but still make the trip at least once or twice a month. As was stated above, it's by far the best hobby shop around (and in my opinion, period). I'm a 2-rail O scaler and a Western Maryland modeler.
