Does the Tender of the MTH LIONEL 392E locomotive match up with the size of the MTH LIONEL 400E locomotive ?
In other words, can the MTH LIONEL 400E locomotive haul the Tender of the MTH LIONEL 392E locomotive and look ok ?
Is the Tender of the MTH LIONEL 400E locomotive close in Height and Width to the Tender of the MTH LIONEL 392E locomotive ?
Are the Driver Diameters of the MTH LIONEL 400E locomotive and of the MTH LIONEL 392E locomotive of the same diameter ?

No, it's too small and doesn't look very good. I've tried.
The motors & drivers are exactly the same.
The 6 wheel 392 tender is ok, but the 4 wheel 384 tender dosen't work. My 2c worth . Harry 
400e and 392E use the same drivers/bild a loco motor, same 4 wheel lead truck.
The 400E has always needed a nice coal tender to go with it.

A coal tender would have been a great way for MTH to help sell a few more 400e’s. I know that new tooling would be involved but just for the tender. Maybe the “new” MTH might take this into consideration.
