How about a working model of Yellowstone Geyser Basin? The geysers erupt every 7 minutes. Seen at the National Capital Trackers modular layout, Kensington, MD Train show. Show runs today as well, 11AM-5 PM in the Kensington Armory.

Very Nice!
Now that is creative.
Is it smoke fluid with a small fan or fans behind it ?
That's certainly cool and unique! Something different for a change.
Very different.
Not THAT's impressive. Beats the "Tornado" N scale module.
Great idea. I am sure this is an attention getter.
Hmm, an air humidifier built into the layout? I would be concerned about the moisture, although it's healthier than smoke fluids.
Many layouts already have old geezers spouting off all the time ...
There used to be a Thomas loco that made "cold steam", actually a water mist which was made more visible by an LED light shining up through it. Possibly an interesting idea to develop because it gives a smoke or steam effect with minimum moisture..
Hmmmm....impressive, but the 97 Coal Elevator is MY all-time favorite!
Steam, or water vapor?
Right, sorry about the steam comment. I need to remember that all water vapor is not steam. Here's a photo of some of the underneath workings that I took during take down today. and, watch for the movie, coming soon to an OGR Theatre Thread near you!
