I have attempted to create an isolated block to trigger an MTH crossing signal and it has a strange issue, at least strange to me. I have a double reversing loop and I want to have a crossing signal on each loop. I have only tried one so far and it does not work correctly. I used a dremel to cut the outside rail about 2 feet on either side of the crossing and removed the tie bars underneath the fastrack. When I check with a meter there is no continuity across the isolated section and the powered section, which is how it should be. I wired the crossing signal to the center rail and the isolated outside rail and the light does not come on until the train enters the isolated area yeah! The problem is that it then stays on no matter how many times the train runs thru the loop or which direction it comes from😕.  If I power down the system and then power up again, the light stays off until the train runs through the loop again and then it stays on until I power down the system again.

Help!

Terry,

What's the MTH product number on the crossing signal so that we can look up its details?

Mike
