IT's TEAM TRACK TUESDAY!!!  Share your layout team track photos here!   Found in rural, small town, and large cities,  team tracks are a vital part of real life railroad day to day operations.   On model train layouts team tracks can provide a nice dimension of interest by providing a place to showcase operating cars such as log, dump, milk, etc. cars.  

Last week on TTT we had a variety of team track photo postings!  Some ultra detailed modeling to some very humorous posts and all points between made up TTT last week.   The purpose of this thread is to fuel and inspire our imaginations.  If your layout is elaborately detailed your photos are welcome AND if your layout is a loop of tinplate track with a team track siding your photos are welcome too.  Photos of real world railroad team track operations are also welcome! 

Practically all types of freight cars can be on/off loaded on team tracks.  Some passenger head end equipment can also be off/on loaded on team tracks and MOW equipment is serviced and/or stored on team tracks.   Changing  team track scenes regularly is an easy way to keep our layouts looking fresh.   So why not  share with us your team track photos here!

It has been a busy week in Everett. Along with some obvious construction problems on the watchman shanties, a true mystery has developed.

In recent weeks, there has been a rash of early morning Quaker Man sightings throughout the valley. Frightened residents have reported seeing a strangely dressed man peeping through their kitchen windows as they eat breakfast. The morning specter is often heard mumbling phrases like, ”Nothing is better for thee, than me”.

Facing mounting public pressure, and without a single good lead beyond a blurry photo, Everett Police reached out for help from the world renowned crime fighters at Mystery, Inc.

The MI gang arrived at the team track yesterday to supervised the careful unloading of their Mystery Machine.

Once on the ground, the gang quickly picked up on a trail of interesting clues, all of which lead to a creepy abandoned residence near Packsaddle Narrows.

The teens quite nearly captured Quaker Man, but he slipped away after a series of unavoidable follies.

It wasn’t long before the gang was back on the trail - A trail that lead straight back to Everett. That's where they nabbed him, right at the Team Track.

Who is the Quaker Man? Why has he been terrorizing the Valley? He was none other than Ferdinand Schumacher Jr. III - great grandson of the famed Akronite, Ferdinand Schumacher, a.k.a. the Oatmeal King.

“I just wanted to convince people to eat my great grandpappy’s rolled oats for breakfast. I would have gotten away with it if it wasn't for you meddling kids!”

This week, It looks like the crew has just finished loading that gon with wire bundles. There are a few more left, but they may have to be left behind unless they risk having the railroad reject the shipment for being over loaded or improperly loaded...

Thanks Thomas- I bought a set of MTH gates that I was going to use here. I was laying out their location and realized that they would not fit. The counter weight on the gate would get hit by the trains coming across the turnout due to the overhang on some of my engines. I bought these instead and after much anguish am finally installing them. (see link below)

Bob, I just read through the linked post and have a far greater appreciation for just how nice the finished signals will be. I suspect I would have given up and settled on a pair of passive crossbucks. Cannot wait to see your finished project.
