The 3rd series of the Ives 3200 came out in 1914, 100 years ago. To celebrate the 100th birthday I took mine out for a spin. It is a nice runner but I do not overuse it. The Saturday Night Train Night gang was here and actually sang Happy Birthday to it. I am being nice to you and you do not get the singing part

When I told my wife about this she thought a person was celebrating 100 years. When I told her it was a party for a train, she was surprised but then remembered that a locomotive of mine was once invited to a gathering before I was. Great video and a great testament to the longevity of our hobby.
