One of the hardest parts about this hobby is the cost.  Structures cost money prebuilt and in kit form. To build a decent skyline, it can get expensive.  I have been mixing in Card stock buildings mounted on Foam Core and this new one was just some random textures I pieced together in photoshop type software.  The point of this building is to add some density to my skyline, to fill in the gaps, the detail is not the highest on the priority.  I only have the walls built and will work on the window and door cut outs later this week,  but this one will work out to a total cost of maybe $4.00 when I am done.  The City Wide Moving structure to the right is a Clever Models kits and that will work out to about $12.00 or less. total after I get the lights installed.

Jim,

My drive to use these buildings is cost.  I dont have a big enough budget to keep dropping $60-$70 on a structure.  Or the $40 for a kit to then paint and construct.

These cost a fraction,  Already have most the detailing done and because I am mixing them in with my MTH and Lionelville structures it is working out well.

These are also perfect for people starting out to add structures for a carpet layout or table top layout and help keep the costs  down.
