I am switching out the legacy board below and one of the wires came out of a two -pin plug connector. Per my measurements, this appears to be a 1.0 mm connector. Here is the board and the socket for the plug with the pulled wire is circled. Does anyone have a specification on which JST connector Lionel uses? Thanks in advance.

It's actually a 1.5mm pitch connector, JST-ZH.
Although I do crimp these, it's easier to find some pre-wired contacts as the smaller contacts are somewhat of a PITA to properly crimp without the $500 manufacturer's tool.

Bingo, I wondered about the same thing and ordered a pack of prewired ones on the bay. If anyone needs a few, email me since this is probably a lifetime + supply.
