Hello everyone,

 

         Just completed this for a fellow forum member, it was a pleasure and a lot of fun to build. Instructions were well written and easy to follow. Also added interior and exterior lighting. Great job Andre!!!!

     ETCHED FRONT GLASS, SIMPLY BRUSH PAINT ON THE BACK. THEN WIPE IT OFF

     AND PAINT WILL REMAIN INSIDE THE ETCHED AREA

Nice Alex!

I can still hear those skinny squeaky floor boards in the

Port Richmond, Castleton Ave and Stapleton stores.

Also have to mention the great burgers at the luncheonette.

Don’t forget to display the weekly sales in the windows.

Steve(SIRT) I also remember those squeaky floor boards, we lived in Bensonhurst Brooklyn, there was a Woolworth's not far from where we lived . It was so much like the one in Staten Island.

 

Andrew, the letter's are painted a gold color, right click on the last picture i posted and you will be able to see the painted lettering.

Wasn't it in downtown port Richmond In staten island . When I was a kid going to brownies hobbies I remember seeing it .

Good morning everyone, thank you all for the input,interest, and kinds words.

 

rickoshay, the lighting i used is standard 14 volt incandescent bulbs

 

jojofry, wow my uncle use to take my to Brownies hobbies when i was a kid

 

My terrible photography isn't showing the gold lettering, so here's two more very close up shots. The gold lettering looks perfect in person.

Not Alex, but I think the blinds are great! They give one the idea that something is going on upstairs without having to detail it or use inserts
