K-line A-5 conventional shorting out

FendermainOGR Forum Member DIGITAL SUBSCRIBER

I am running this with a KW and a 5 amp auto fuse protecting the circuit. Yesterday it reversed direction unexpectedly then later toasted a fuse. Continued shorting today. Other engines run without problems on this circuit. Perhaps the reversing board going bad?

I'd do a physical check of the wiring, could just be a loose or chaffed wire.
