Thinking of picking up a K-line Daylight and 6 cars. Any experience review would be helpful before I plunk down the bills. Thanks.

It depends. They are not scale but nice engines. Do you want sound with all the bells and whistles then they are a good deal depending on the price. If you want scale I would pick up a brass Williams. No sound but great looking and can be had at a very good price. Don
Thanks, Don. Yes, it is a very good price and includes TMCC so there's no additional installation there. Six RailKing lighted cars to boot!
I have the TCA version. When I get home this evening I will post a video so you can see and hear it in action. I think it is a great value. The only problem I had was the springs on the tender pick-ups losing their tension, but new ones are fine.

The K-Line daylight is absolutely the best semi-scale version available, period. It's got its flaws, but for what it is, it's simply the best. The cars are pretty nice as well.
Here's the first video, from just behind the locomotive. You can hear that it actually has both a steam whistle and a diesel horn, just like the original daylight locomotives.

Video #2 is from the rear of the long train. As you can see, it was problematic. I had hoped this would give you a better side view of the locomotive, but the train is just too long. WAY too long!

As long as you are not a rivet counter you should be happy with your buy....I am VERY happy with mine.
