I know this question was asked before but did not understand the answer.
What type of protection and how well does this protect from voltage spikes, surges and transients?
The packaging claims Duplexed, Bi-directional protection? Don't they all?
Was K-line ahead on the curve with this or is it just hype?
I do like the light and banana sockets. And a guy is selling these on the bay at 5 for $9.95 so I grabbed a set.
And besides the light, what are the other two components? They look like the are wired across (in parallel) with the hot and ground.
