Everything is dead.

That is a little odd. K-Line built these two ways. One with all the control electronics in the lead A and the other with each A unit having its own electronics. I would take the shell off the lead A and look for broken wires and loose boards.

Ok that was what I was thinking and I was also worried that the board may be fried.  I have had the shells off and all the control electronics are in the lead A.

If nothing works and wires appear to be OK then the likely problem is the radio board. Usually you at least get lights so it may just have to reseated. Also make sure the program run switch is in run and also if it works in conventional by unplugging the Command or Legacy base.

I couldn't even get conventional to work.  I will check the wiring tonight when I get home from my current train pay provider (aka work).

I opened up the lead A unit wiggled some wires, traced the two trucks wires to the board put it back together and then put the lead A unit on the track, and there was power to the lead unit. Next step is to hook up the B unit, test, then hook up the back A unit and test. I will do that tomorrow since it is late already.
