Hello

I am repairing a K-Line Shay with Lionel TMCC. Two wires have been cut and appear to have broken off from the top switchboard with the volume pot and switches.  One cut wire is black and the other is blue.    It appears that a wire is missing from the Run/Prog switch and also one from the  Smoke switch as it appears (due to solder residue) that there must have been two wires to each switch for them to function.  In the attached photo you will see the blue and black cut wires. The cut black must be ground as it terminates in a wire nut with other blacks. The Run//Prog switch's one existing lead is black that goes to the top circuit board.  So would the cut black go to the Run/Prog switch? Would the cut blue attach to the smoke switch since the other smoke switch lead is red which goes to the smoke unit?  See photos.IMG_2291IMG_2293

The SHAY is a nice engine but the wiring is packed too tightly.  Already had to splice a speaker wire and another ground lead. TMCC electronics should have been in a tender.
