I bought some K-line Madison passenger car interior kits to use in detailing some Williams Madison cars.  The kits include interiors and streamlighting boards.  I believe streamlighting used incandescent light bulbs, not leds.  Is that correct?  Does any one know the amp draw of a car equipped with the stream lighting?  I need to remove the two bulbs used in the Williams cars to install the interiors.  Is it worth using the streamlighting boards or should I go with something like the strip leds?

Thanks.

These things are really power hogs,I would go with LED lighting. Lots of ways to do LEDs, several circuits are in my blog the way I do it. Best pics are in the caboose lighting thread

Thank you guys.  I had a feeling that LEDs would be the lighting of choice but DAle nailed it down when he said "power hogs".  I think the LED strip lighting may be the easiest way but I'll check Dales blog at JCStudios.  What is the best place to get the strip LEDs?  And I guess the warm white would be the best color for Madison cars.
