It's up again now. Whatever craziness is going on you'd think those who are responsible for the site would make certain it's in tip top shape. Its erratic behavior is a pita,
Several years back the site was operated by forum member MojoMark, as per the thread I linked to earlier on. He hasn’t logged into the forum for over two years though, but he does have an email address in his inactive profile.....
Any update on the K-Line Legacy site? Have been trying to access with no luck...
I'm guessing it's likely gone for good if I had to guess. I haven't gotten in there for weeks.
Say it isn’t so!
Just tried it and got in fine; there's also a PayPal donation link on the home page. Perhaps that, too, should be used...
I'd love to know how you get in, I tried Firefox, Chrome, and MS-Edge browsers, I get the same thing on all of them. If that's your definition of in, it's not all that useful.
I'd actually consider donating if there was any usefulness to the site, but this limits my desire to spend money on it.

I was able to get into http://www.legacykline.com/apps/kl/catalog.html using Chrome just a few minutes after your post, and it appears to be displaying properly. Chrome says the site is not secure - perhaps there's something in your settings that is limiting what you see.
I'm at a loss, Chrome is reset to defaults as is MS Edge, still no joy. I'm not going to clobber all my Firefox settings as I doubt that will fix it. I don't have any extra special filtering going on, so I don't know why it wouldn't work.
Note that a host of people all have the same issue, so it's not like it's an issue with my environment.
I accessed the site by clicking on the link in Mallard4468’s post using Safari on my iPad. Clicked on a few links on the site, appears to be working okay for me.
FWIW, I also can't access it. I've tried four different browsers and I see the same exact thing as John. To those of you who can access the site, do you think you could post contact info for the webmaster? My day job is as a systems engineer for a certain fruit company and I'd be willing to chip in to help figuring out what's up. My guess is that it's certificate-related on the server side. I just need to know who to email.
I get this with that link.
I even tried changing my DNS serves and it's till not resolved.

Website says that owner goes by the handle mojomark on OGR. His profile contains an email address and website (go there to find it - not going to post here). His profile says he joined in 2005, but last visit was April 2017, so who knows if he's active or not.
Me too, I get the same with Safari
I wonder if people seeing the site are seeing cached copies? All of our computers can't be broken!
I am using a new iPad that I have had only a few weeks. I doubt that the Kline web site is cached on it. I haven’t tried to access the Kline web site for a very long time. I do see “Not Secure” in the URL area when I access the site.
Here is a screen shot taken just a few minutes ago.

Same info I posted here above back in above back in August.
There has to be some kind of Internet access issue. I have had a couple of issues like this over the years when a block of Internet addresses were not accessible to me.
Mystery solved! It is some sort of Internet routing issue. I used a free proxy server that is hosted in the Netherlands, and BAM, it came right up.
Hi Folks,
I'm sorry some of you are having problems. I am not seeing the same issues with the K-Line site from my house. Although, I have had that behavior with one of my other sites hosted on the same platform.
I'll open another ticket with my hosting provider to see if they can provide some insight on the behavior.
(sorry for the absentee owner... all my train stuff is in storage so I've been out of the hobby for a few years.)
Great to see you post Mark.
I think it's some sort of Internet routing issue, I've seen this before. The fact that by going through a proxy server I was able to access it normally tells me that there is a disconnect between parts of the Internet and your web hosting site.
I hope you get your stuff out of storage soon and are able to once again enjoy the model train hobby.
Works!
nope not yet for me.
As of 12:45PM est the link works fine from my Charter Spectrum connection here in Hoover AL.

Did it just suddenly start working, or did you use a proxy server?
I'm beginning to think it might be Verizon that's the problem!
I don't think it's Verizon, we have Google and that isn't getting through either.
Try this proxy server and see if you get it that way. Just go to the link below and enter the URL you want to browse to.
ProxySite.com - Free Web Proxy Site
Edit: better choice for the proxy server.
I just tried GRJ's suggestion using the server he posted and it went right to the home page of the K-Line site. When I clicked on a link there, it went to 'ERROR'. Tried repeatedly with several links getting the same error message. I'm on Spectrum here in Western NC.
C.SAM, same here with GRJ's as well. I'm with suddenlink.net southern West Virginia

Comcast was not able to connect yesterday and also on and off for a while. However, today I was able to connect to the site after @Former Member posted above. Also, thank you @gunrunnerjohn for the proxy server link; I'll give it a try since at times comcast can be stubbornly fussy.
Try this proxy server, I get the same thing on the other one. Didn't think to try an internal link.
ProxySite.com - Free Web Proxy Site
I followed a bunch of internal links to get to this page.

The Hidester Proxy link got through, but I had to try several different times with different settings from that site.
Your second link above, ProxySite.com, worked just fine, even tried a few links on the KLine site and all was well. Definitely something strange going on there.
I'm using Chrome, didn't try anything else.
John, your second proxy site worked just fine! Thanks. Your like a new tool in my toolbox

Just started
Straight in with several Apple products
And the Apple fanboys ride again!
I'm having no problem getting through on Chrome at this time.
I have been unable to access the website as well.
I can ping www.legacykline.com.
I can access the site as www.legacykline.com and get a list of directories.
Can not get HTTP to load and can't find an HTML file.
Could not get any contact info from the site.
Does anyone have an e-mail point of contact?
As I said, I'm having no problems at the moment using: http://www.legacykline.com/app...?useraction=catalogs
You keep saying that Jim, but it's hardly useful information, we heard you the first time. What would be useful information is an explanation of why certain areas can't access it directly.
