Awesome! Thanks Erik....

Wow, that's beautiful. The side shot at speed looks real.
BTW, Erik, looks like your DNS expired 7/29/14.
Can you buy the details seperately?

Now that is absolutely stunning! Malcolm
Beautiful. Clever, these humans. Definite advantage of using an under-floor shaft drive.
Erik,
Beautiful model and great photography. Thanks for sharing.
What decoders are you using? Did you use a separate decoder for the lights?
Thanks again,
Ed
Might be my favorite PA color scheme. I saved the Grande Gold PA photo - hope you don't mind.
Its to bad they cant do that 3RS engines. That's just great. Are you going to detail the interior sections?

What decoder are you installing?
Lets not forget there is a toilet casting in the engine room as well. It is in the rear area.

what an awesome thread! keep the pics coming. I would love to see the details of the decoder installation and whatnot.
Thanks Erik,
It gives me an idea of what is in the E's. I was going to use the Key interior as a model for my 3rd Rail E7's. Looks like it will be doable.
I need to start thinking about DCC. Is removing the shell fairly straightforward?
Did you wire the lighting to the decoder?
Thanks
When you guys figure out how to put wireless DCC in brass let me know.
Unbelievable level of detail. Thanks for starting this thread. Very informative.
Just out of curiosity, what did the Key Imports Rio Grande PAs sell for? I bet it was well north of two grand.
I think it was more like 2800 for AB if it was ABA 4200

Get in touch with Greg at RGS RR Hobbies. He has mastered the Airwire system in brass.

Is that a prb royal gorge set?
Thanks for posting the pictures, and answering a question I could not find, the answer, price. Wonderful models.
In love with the attention to every little thing. This is what drives me in our hobby. Thanks Key for the models.
I have a set of Missouri Pacific of 4 A units no B's they did not have B's. I have corrected some paint issues on the body's and changed # to suit me needs.
There were only 4 MP A units made by key, they are mine. I would need north of
$8,000 if they were for sale.
