As shown in another post, I am a fan of these diagonal entrance gas and store buildings ((there is a nice kit offered, but it is expensive, so I have kitbashed

and scratchbuilt enough (more than enough?) to represent towns behind stations)). This is from a kit frequently on eBay, for which I enlarged the upstairs living quarters, took a corner off the porch, turned an open leanto

into a tiny Plymouth sales/garage and added service from one of my favorite

period oil companies. (until fairly recently there was a tiny Ford dealer in a

nearby wide spot in the road)
