I guessed wrong that the kits would have a very short platform..so came up
with two extra kits..for sale..($50.00 ea. plus ship) These kits are a great way to learn to build trestle bents, for after you have done the platform supports on wax paper over the plans, you won't be intimidated by all those posts and braces...I went on to do the two beet sugar "high lines" I posted on here, after this kit. Kitbashing involved building a larger ice house that extended to ground, including a ground level freight door, and adding a tubular "metal" block chute to send ice to platform.
