Kline K4 Getting Water with Super Chuffer II

Looks good, you just need to add the Chuff-Generator to get 4-chuffs/rev to complete the job.

For mounting the MTH smoke unit in a typical K-Line, I made these mounting plates.

Here's the smoke unit mounted with the mounting plate.

The washer was used to lift the brass cup up just enough to directly mate with the shell.  For many installations, I solder a short piece of brass tubing to the brass cup as an extension to the stack.

Thanks John. I will install the chuff generator when I get a chance. My mounting plate looks almost identical to yours. What material is that? I used aluminum but that looks easier to work with.
