I have built a few buildings from Korber and Ameri-towne for their style.  I am thinking of building (Lionel Factory) the above kit.  My concern is footprint.  Looking at box pictures for sale, I am not able to see the dimensions.

Is there anyone out there that can answer this question for me?  Thanks.

I built it but have no info on footprint. I have some photos of the finished building on my table saw with the ruler on the saw fence so maybe you can get an idea - https://ogrforum.com/...factory-build?page=1

Your post prompted me to ask.  It looks pretty big, but looks are deceiving.  I have a spot about 24" x 24" that I am considering for a factory.  This looks pretty interesting.  I have a few Korber, Ameritown, 1 sowntown deco and a few Woodland Scenics.  I have about gone through what they have to offer, but short of the Morrison Door Factory, nothing jumps out.

I will look at your pictures.  Anyone else?

I think its way bigger than 24 square.

I dont have one, but using a photo of it and comparing it to building dimensions on the Korber website, the front office is effectively 180% (9 windows wide vs. 5) the width of General power and light, which is listed at 13" wide. That makes the front office about 24" without the factory on the back. The factory is at least 3 JLC manufacturings wide (30") and the length of those is also almost 2 feet. I'd say your space is way short.

Think a little outside of the kit box and you should be able to build a factory that suits your needs. A 12-16" square factory (can't forget the parking lot and loading docks in your 2' square) is will within kitbashable limits using Ameritowne, Korber, DPM or even Downtown Deco bits and a little ingenuity.

I thought it would be too big.  I am considering some Kit Bashing to make a 18-24 x 18-24 inch factory or something like it.  I have a couple buildings coming in from Todd's Architectural in the next week or 2.  After those go in, it is time to get on this space.
