A while back I was reading a similar post and a member posted how he did his floor for this kit. I am asking for ideas/suggestions on how to do the floor in the kit I am building. First does the roundhouse need to be constructed on the floor and second how did you bring the floor up to railhead height? Did you model any pits in the floor and if so how did you do that and keep the rails secure? I am using Gragraves Phantom Rial Flex Track in mine.

Assuming you have a turntable with spurs leading into the roundhouse, usual setup, then the top of track inside the r-house matches the top of track of the TT.

Thus, you either build-up the floor along the inside spurs or raise up the r-house floor to the level of the track.  When you build up around the track spurs you need to make sure you have clearance, so the build-up does not scratch the engines and the wheels clear the build-up.

I did neither because my r-house is located such that the inside is not visible.

I did not build the RH on the floor. I cut out the floor boards and inserted them into the structure (see above thread for how I did that) and glued them to the walls where I could and also drilled and inserted and glued small diameter steel rods through the sides of the RH into the floor boards for additional structural support.

I used Gargraves flex track, but wasn't that concerned with getting an exact height match for the flooring with the top of the rails. I used two 1/4" glued-up pieces of plywood (1/2" total height) for the flooring and the track rails sit about 1/16"-1/8" below floor height for a "sunken" look, which I actually like.

I did not make a "pit".
