Can you tell me what you use for a lamp shade for a grain of wheat bulb? If you have pictures, great. Also, please tell me if you have tried something and it does not work. I need ideas as I am using these bulbs as free hanging from a ceiling and I would like to put some kind of shade on them to that they will look better.

Thanks in advance and hope you all have a great day.

Roger, I bought that very thing many years ago at a train shop.  Whether they are still made I don't know, but it might be worth checking with a well stocked shop if you haven't already.  They were of a style that might hang over a pool table or workbench, made of green plastic, the shade 1/2" or less in diameter, with a hole in the top (neck) for the wire.  I just checked to see if I had extras I could give you, but no luck.  Hope this helps.

Hi everyone,

I use something that is so cheap and I think it works pretty good. These are little Christmas bells the I guess are used for ornaments.I bought them from a store called Michael's it's a crafts store. The package comes with 34 bells and I think I paid 2.50 for the pack. I cut the clapper out and roughed the outside of the bell and then painted it the color I wanted. There's a little opening on the top of the bell where I slipped the blub through and then put a dab of glue to hold it in place.

Alex
