I have not heard anyone say they were successful with a lash up between a DCS engine and a Legacy engine using one controller.  Maybe in conventional if both engines have the same speed for a set voltage.

I have seen a DCS engine double headed with a TMCC engine where the engines were controlled separately by two folks.  These guys had practiced before the meet and it pretty much worked.

Not a lash-up, but did try it with a Legacy switcher engine and a MTH in conventional not coupled together to see if it would work if coupled together. The MTH ran slower then the Legacy and the Legacy kept pushing the MTH. Tried several times, but gave up afraid that the Legacy would push the engine off the track or run over the coupling. So for me, if they were coupled together as a Lash-up, wouldn't work.

Hey Buddy,

DCS will not even give you the option to "lash" the engines in the settings. It implicitly asks if you are building an MTH or TMCC/Legacy "Lash-up". I took this as a definitive "no" as if the manufacture doesn't want to, I wont try and force it as they must have had a reason.

P.s. I know this has been asked before and the answer is always no.

Hope this helps!
