This one has the shell screw holes directly underneath the spot for the Kadee coupler. It also had a huge hole/gap for the tinplate coupler that I filled in. I've spent more time on this little Railking engine then most. Was a fun project. Still more work to do. I intend to add hoses, etc...

I still have an earlier Zebra striped version with PS1 (I think). I think if MTH could 3-2 some of their switchers, they could generate some sales.
How attached are you to that Zebra stripe? I'm looking for a dummy H10 to pair with the one above.
I like pairing them as I put pickup rollers on the dummies (and a PS/1 already has rollers!) and I wire the 2 units together. Makes for an excellent yard switcher and can run trouble free and super slow on any switch.

My PS1 version had excellent running characteristics, I also like the engine a lot.

Nice work. I have one I picked up for a ridiculously low price w/Proto-2 to boot. Then picked up another one in an obscure road which I was thinking about repainting to ATSF Zebra Stripes. Hadn't thought about converting them to Kadees back when I bought them, but this looks like a worthwhile project.
