I thought some might enjoy our latest video - Model Railroad Water - Quick and Easy.

Although this is one of many, many ways to create believable water scenes, this is a tried and
true method that anyone of any experience level can do in quick fashion.

Obviously, we can't do everything in a single video, so in this, we are creating one that is very simple.
With easy to find and easy to use materials, we are retro-fitting the layout with a small dock scene featuring a shallow and slow moving stream.

Enjoy and Happy Halloween, Joey Ricard

Thanks again Joey for sharing your "how-to-doit's" with the forum members. I passed this along to the AMRS Group.

One question? are you doing a 2nd segment on this, showing how to get the riffles, and white water/caps, for streams and lakes????

We all appreciate your expertise, and help.

We have put a lot of "Lip Stick" on a pig, so to say, detailing our traveling "O" Gauge Club Layout this year. It does look so, so much better. We did use some of your techniques. I don't know if we'll ever get to do any water, but it can only help, so thanks again...........................................Brandy!
