Layout Battery power bank

Hi all, happy holidays! I am looking for some recommendations on powering my layout with a battery power bank that potentially could be recharged via solar. I have four loops powered by 2Z 4000 transformers. I run four locomotives typically at a time. Not sure the math on the amount of power required, any recommendations on external power banks that have solar options that could support my layout as well as future accessories, which would comprise of buildings, etc. I would greatly appreciate any recommendations. You all can provide.

Wow answering your questions will require a lot of math, and later a considerable amount of $$ to implement.  How long are your operating sessions, and how frequently will you run your trains?  Both will affect the amount of solar equipment you'll need.  What is your longitude - that will impact the efficiency of the solar panels.  How many average cloudy days per year in your area?

Besides the solar panels, you'll need batteries, a system voltage regulator, and an inverter (DC to AC) minimum.

I recommend searching for a solar expert in your area for assistance. A solar setup is so much more than just solar panels and batteries.  Good Luck!
