Just sharing some pictures of the layout build. Finally started. A lot of work for one guy. Mianne Benchwork fit into room perfectly. Just finished 1/2” Birch plywood. Now for 1/2” 440 homasote and then trim work. Then stain and paint. Big thanks to everyone who has given this rookie and his first build great advise.

Hi Jay, yes it’s in a 13 X 35 foot attached garage. Originally going to have a boat in there. Decided trains were better. Lol 😂

Wow, great buildings. I would concur with your choice; trains are better than boats.
You probably know the saying -- the two best days with a boat are the day BUYING it and the day SELLING it. With trains, the two best days are OPENING the new train set box placed by your dad under the Christmas tree for you and GIFTING a new train set box for your first grandchild.
