Layout design with a wye intersection using Atlas O
This is a track design that provides a layout using O-72 WYE turnouts. The design was made using SCARM track planning software and uses Atlas O track segments.
This layout design could be used when railroad tracks intersect. The east to west route trains can proceed using the north side passing siding or proceed north via the wye. West to east trains can proceed using the south passing siding or proceed south using the wye. Of course trains can reverse direction by using either the north WYE track or the south WYE track. The layout includes a grade level 90 degree crossing.
