Anyone else's layout double as their workbench as well?

Hey there I thought everyone's did, without the layout bench work, there wouldn't be any place to work! LOL

Yep, must confess.... I have a work station in an old roll top drafting table, works great. When I am in need to stop, before finished with something, I can roll the top closed and on-going work is undisturbed. But, this and my bench, is in another room, downstairs, from the layout. So, a lot of work on the engines and rolling stock occurs on one corner of the layout, where the "test track" is closest and easily available.

my MDF top workbench loop can be seen here, I've since added a "yard" on the far end (to the right) - transitioned to FastTrack from O-27.
I basically use the section between the two loops as my workspace for train or non-train projects, the far right side now is committed to the "yard" though!
