LC Plus and Original CW-80

I am currently using an original CW-80 with Track A to outside rail and Track U to center rail on approx 5X11ish single block double oval layout. I am now thinking of migrating to LC+ and would appreciate knowing if all of the LC+ features (sound, uncoupling at rear/tender etc) of any given engine would work on a layout using an original CW-80 wired in the above manner.

If you're using the LC+ remote, it doesn't really care about the transformer, so the answer would be yes.
