When will the registration table be open on Sunday, so I can pick up the materials and credentials? I'm not staying at the hotel...I live about 30 miles from there. Thanks in advance!
I’ll be headed over there on Sunday to pick up my registration too. First time for me so I’m looking forward to checking it out!
I jumped the gun and went tonight trying to pick up my registration. The Westin is MUCH bigger and nicer than I expected.
Jay Jay, or anyone, do you know if IRM is doing anything special for the LCCA group visit? Anything with Lionel Lines lettering, or special line ups for display?
Guys, I'm here at the convention. The registration desk should open at 12.00 today.
I don't know, Sam, but I think that some of the newer carbarns, normally closed to the public, will be open. There's a lot of "good stuff" in them. Last week, when the Santa Fe society was at IRM, they brought a lot of that road's equipment out for photography and running in trains. I don't know how that translates for the LCCA.

If that’s the case, I’d very highly recommend that everyone who can go should! I may have to call in to work. I’ve read on line that the Zephyr and a “wood train” (whatever that is) will be running for LCCA day. Those barns really do have some amazing cool stuff hidden away. My uncle made a cash donation, a member over heard, and gave us a private tour. What kind of stories can this Rattlesnake Island ride on train and old Dodge inspection car could tell? The Dodge has only flanged wheels like the postwar Lionel inspection car. Ever see an EMD B unit without the “skin” so you can see everything inside?
