LCCA To Be Part of Variety Telethon

 

The Lionel Collectors Club of America ( LCCA) is proud to be participating in the 53rdAnnual Variety Kids Telethon in Buffalo and Western NY on Sunday March 22, 2015 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.   If you are in the Buffalo and western NY area, we invite you to tune into ABC affiliate station Channel 7 WKBW-HDTV and watch this telethon.   Al Kolis will be at the Adams Mark Hotel in Buffalo NY  representing the LCCA.    He will be on air promoting the LCCA and introducing viewers to Lionel trains.  The LCCA donated some Lionel Thomas the Tank Starter sets to this children’s charity to benefit “Variety The Children’s Charity”.   This entertaining telethon is raising money to benefit the Center for Children with Special Needs and the Women’s And Children’s Hospital of Buffalo NY.  

 

We invite you all to participate in this worthwhile charity event,  Spread the word and tell your friends, family and neighbors about the LCCA being on TV in Buffalo NY.   So tune in to Channel 7, learn more about the LCCA and Lionel Trains and support a worthy cause.  Thank you for your continued support.

About the LCCA – 

The Lionel Collectors Club of America (LCCA) is a national, not-for profit, volunteer organization which was formed by Jim Gates of Perry IA along with 83 other charter members back in 1970.  The club has grown over the years and has approximately 13,700 members from all around the world, but predominantly in the US.  The purpose of the club is to "promote and foster interest, research, education and enjoyment of Lionel trains from 1900 to the present in particular and by association, all toy trains in general.  The motto of our club is “ A Lifetime of Happiness Collecting Lionel Trains”.  Go to our website www.lionelcollectors.org for more information. 

 

About “Variety-The Children’s Charity  The Children’s Charity of Buffalo and Western New York is known for its support of the Robert Warner MD Center for Children with Special Needs and the Women’s and Children’s Hospital of Buffalo.   Variety also supports many Western New York children’s charities through it annual telethon on WKBW-TV broadcast live from the Adam’s Mark Hotel in Downtown Buffalo New York.
