You might want to explore plastic. It's easier to work with than wood. I scratch build this gas station using Plastruct products entirely. Tile roof, stucco walls, poles, everything. They have endless types on materials. https://plastruct.com

That is super cool. My projects are more about having something to do and using what I have.

I checked out your link and ordered some windows and doors from that supplier in NC.
Veloman - this is a fine start - as you build more structures you will develop your own construction style and you will see improvement with every new structure you build.
