I just replaced my switches and controllers with 12 LED bulbs and they work great. They had the resistors already built in and all I had to do was take the old one out and pop in the new one. My intent was to lessen the load on my TW transformer for my accessories.
I would like to replace the bulbs with LED's in my 736 loco, bay window caboose and searchlight car.
Since they work on variable voltage I am not sure whether the LED's would dim or get brighter as I vary the voltage.
Anyone know whether this would work and which ones to get?
Also if they make an LED bulb for the post war gateman, which one should I purchase?
