Found these at Big Lots. They would be great to light interiors and I like the thin wires too. Powered by 3AA batteries.

What exactly are those? A string of Christmas lights?
Those fine wire AA battery powered micro LED strand's are also available at WalMart, At Home, Home Depot and Lowes. Lengths (3ft & 6ft), light color, count and lighting/timing functions vary.
Nice 40% silver kennedy half.....
The fine wire LED lights are great for a Christmas village. Some of them have a built in 24 hour cycle, 6 hrs on 18 off. The batteries last a season.
I use them to light the underside of my layout ,

I found a Christmas style led set for 1.00.. at our dollar store, uses 2AA. I thought to run a bunch of the wires to a custom 4AA single power pack with an click on and off push button switch.
The lights themselves are tiny and hard to work with. The fact that they are already wired and protected is great.
If you chop them up and solder them in sets, you can do this with them too...
First glance it looks like a pile of illuminated paper clips! Nice information.
Brother love, could you contact me? I would love to have you paint a gb&w transfer caboose for me. Sorry to hijack this thread, I don’t know how to contact you.

AUSSTEVE,
The M&M car is great. I looked at a bunch of stuff on the web. Could you tell us how it's wired and powered? What is added to make it blink? Where did you get the characters?
Jerry
