LED Marker Lights & Backup Light On Rail King Tenders

Well... I don't have the attachment photos, but all the outputs are there.  First off, are the boards in the locomotive or tender, it makes an obvious difference in wiring them up.

I buy something like the Lionel tender markers for these kinds of upgrades.

The boards are in the tenders. There are no lights on these tenders as built by MTH, so I need to know where I can connect to the PS2 3V and 5V boards to have directional lighting of the LEDs.

Here's the wiring diagram from the PS/2 Steam Upgrade Kit, it shows the connections for the tender markers (2 series LED's), and the tender backup light (6V incandescent).

Another schematic from the diesel kit .  The  main board   pins are   the same.. Marty has posted this one  many time and it comes in handy.(3 volt)   Looks like 12-4 for back up light.  

Note there are crimped wires that pop in and out of the housing - 12-pin shown here.  This picture from the following thread with similar application:

It appears your tender does not have the 8-pin housing so you'd need that too.  GRJ or one of the MTH gurus can tell you the part number of that crimp and housing or if you ask around one of the guys may have some spare/unused parts from an upgrade kit.  Then add resistor if using LED instead of bulb for backup light.

I believe the 3V connectors are Hirose DF3 family.  The 5V connectors are very similar but not compatible, not sure of the connector family.  I've never needed extra board connectors over what I have from conversions and upgrades, so I've never went shopping for these.
