I have removed 8 incadescent bulbs and installed 8 LEDs with 220 ohm resistors with each LED with success in this RK dash 8 . When I tried the same method ( 1 LED with a 220 resistor for each ditchlight ) for the ditch lights I get nothing . The ditchlights do work with the incadescents .
What am I missing ??? 🤔

You probably have the polarity wrong on the LED's, try swapping the leads.

2016 .......first MTH locomotive purchase . Ps2 RK dash 8 . 10 incadescent bulbs replaced with LEDs.........now it becomes the brightest locomotive in my roster.
You nailed it GRJ . 👍 The ditch lights have total function using the DCS remote. Don't know how I missed the polarity on the early try.

I have a very large Oak tree outback John.
You definitely find more acorns than I do " .............I keep looking under the Maple tree !
