Need to know where I can get leds to replace the 24volt bulbs in my Lionel O22 switches. Must be able to handle 18 to 20 volts.

Don't know about the LED's. I'm sure someone will post soon with a source but you should not need more than 14 volts. If you need that much voltage to operate the 022 swwitches they need to be cleaned and serviced.
When I was learning to fix these on the bench they had to switch and lock on 10 volts. That way we could be sure they would work on the customer's layout. It did take some work with some switches.

taylorra,
If you're needing that much power, something is not right. You should be right around 16V or even less. My prewar switches operate at 12V and prewar switches are noted for being power hogs. You should completely disassemble and service each switch motor. Town and Country Hobbies carry LED bulbs rated at18V.
Taylorra - give Jean Hollash a call at Hollash's Trains. She has LEDs for switches. The bulbs look identical to the original bulbs. She has both screw in and posts. 813-671-0422, Riverview, Florida, or hollashtrains@aol.com. Also, recommend looking though the OGR magazine for light bulb suppliers. Hank
