I just saw in Narrow Gauge and Shortline Gazette that Lee Snover had died.  He had a kit for a little Mack switcher some time ago and l talked him into selling me the body parts for a planned three rail version still on my to-do list.  I hate losing people who do branch line stuff like this.  I think l met him once but can't remember where...an O scale show, maybe Strasburg.

I was an early subscriber to Bob Brown's "Finelines" (1968) and Lee Snover was mentioned frequently in those early fine scale modeling days. Didn't he run LeeTown Model Service?

Always am saddened by the loss of another long term modeler or railroad photographer. In that regard, Jim Shaughnesy passed away recently - one of my all time favorite photographers, regularly featured in Trains and Railroad Magazines.
