Legacy Cab Controllers

Gd Morning Members:
It's good news to hear that finally the Legacy Controllers have arrived after a lengthy holdover. I was on a waiting list and I'm picking mine up today. I was also very lucky to pick up a new set about 9 months ago, so now I'll have 2. My question is: Is there a way to get them to work in tandem or do I split up my collection and upload my trains half on one controller, half on the other. Or are there any way to utilize them .... differently?  I appreciate everyone's input. Thanks and take care - MARSHELANGELO

Since the base holds all the information on locomotives, there is no way to divvy them up amongst controllers.  Both Cab2s will have the same information.

 

The only advantage, is that the recording is stored in Cab2 so you can have a recording for each.

 

Both controllers will display what the other is doing on a selected engine.  If you have ENG 2 called up on both, you can see the change is speed on both.  The Cab2s work fine together.
