Ok, question about Lionel Southern Legacy USRA Light 2-8-2 4501, sku: 2131370

Is there something about Legacy locomotive's smoke units needing significant time to warm up?

Before anyone asks, yes, the smoke unit is turned on. Bluetooth is on. Cab-2 smoke is set to "high". Smoke fluid recently supplied.

I turn on the locomotive and whistle steam starts immediately with great output. Main steam has nothing. After about 10 minutes of running, a weak steam will come from main stack, and after 20-30 minutes the main steam is working very well. Is this typical?

I scoured the forum for past topics on this, and a couple responses hinted at this phenomenon when discussing other smoke issues, but did not find one that addressed this issue directly.

As always...thank you all for the wealth of experience and knowledge you provide here.

Ok, guys. Very much appreciate feed back. I'm sending it in, again, under warranty. Huge update...running today under legacy control and suddenly the lights went out and the speed increased. Quickly realized it was running in conventional. Now that is how it runs only. Double checked legacy system and all checks out and runs other legacy loco without problem. I think the legacy control on 4501 is malfunctioning.
