Has anyone used any type of quick connect electrical connector to splice the Lemax Street Lamps together? I have picked up a few sets to use on my holiday layout (after holiday sale). I want to be able to cut the wires leading between each lamp and the battery pack under the table so I only have a small hole in the table for the wires plus connectors to drop through. This way I can remove them easily and continue to store the table away without anything on it. Anyone interested here is a link to the layout.

My plan is to install sidewalks with the lamps dropping through them during the off-season this this year. Thanks in advance for any advice given.
