Thanks Gene!  Oh yeah.   The MOW crew likes to keep some homemade hootch on hand to warm the innards.  The dude lying face down in the snow had a bit too much hootch.

Thanks for posting all  these snow plows.  I have been looking for a easy car to build during the cold weather and snow plow made from a junk caboose, in the MTH style, fits the bill.  Should keep me busy for a few weeks.   We do not have snow plows in south Louisiana but one will fit on the layout as it had an ice skating rink.

Here are some of my snow plows. I’m missing the PRSL Wedge plow on a gondola. It must be out on assignment.

The only snowplow that I have that did a days work is this G gauge one.

@pennsyfan, Bob the hair dryer would have been great.  I know one forum member, I believe it was @gunrunnerjohn, found a small enough re-chargeable vacuum to mount on a O gauge flatcar to vacuum his tracks, maybe something like that, wired in reverse, could make for a snow blower rather than a snow melter.

I always thought this plow was so cool because of the jaws but when it first came out I didn't have any LIRR equipment so I didn't buy one.  Prices on the secondary market combined with having nine other pieces of snow removal equipment keep me from pursuing one now.  I do have a set of decals with mouths and eyes intended for snow plow use so some of my wedge type plows will be getting "character".
