Norm per the PRR drawings we have, the sign is 2.97 long, keystone height .859 , sign height .535 which off course is our O scale size. We can make these signs in other scales as well or if you need some other size we can make them as well.  We are not limited to just Pennsy signs as we can do other railroads as well or any business signs you would want. Let us help you with your project, just email us what you need. Thanks for you interest

Bob,

Mr. Jeff Scherb published a two volume set of Trackside on The Pennsylvania - Standard Plans of The Standard Railroad of The World in 2002. Published by Highlands Station Inc., 2600 South Parker Rd., Suite 1-211, Aurora, Colorado 80014-1601.

Volume I contains detailed information and drawings for PRR Passenger Station signs, Interlocking and/or Block Station signs, Mile Posts, Whistle Posts, Etc, Etc, as well as lettering style, sizes and spacing.

Everything you wanted to know about Pennsy signs but were afraid to ask. I believe these books are still available.

Thank you Gentlemen.

I know I've seen the one I need on a very old picture of RS tower at the junction of the Redstone and Southwest branches in Uniontown.

But since accuracy is important to me I want to make sure as to get the right one/size.

These are very valuable books, IMO.  For the scale modeler, they represent a treasure trove of information on the structural details of the Standard Railroad of the World.

This thread motivated me to look at these books again.  A number of these details are going to be incorporated in Panhandle 2.0.
